Well, to be honest, I think it’s largely down to industrialisation and the consumer-driven society we live in. We’re using non-renewable resources at an alarming rate, which contributes significantly to pollution. It’s like we’re on a runaway train*, and we need to find a way to apply the brakes. *runaway train: A situation that’s out of control and will probably lead to trouble. Should governments be held responsible for addressing pollution? I believe so, yes. Governments have the power and resources to enforce regulations on industries contributing to pollution. For instance, they could incentivise eco-friendly practices and invest in renewable energy. What are some measures individuals can take to reduce pollution? I’m not an expert on this, but I guess reducing, reusing, and recycling waste is a good place to start. As the saying goes, “every little helps.” How has the situation regarding pollution changed from the past, and what do you foresee for the future? Theo Bệnh viện Tâm thần TP.HCM, số lượt người khám vì trầm cảm trong ba tháng đầu năm 2023 liên tục gia tăng ở mọi độ tuổi, lên gần 4.000 ca/tháng. Bệnh trầm cảm kéo dài sẽ gây ra những hệ lụy khó lường, tuy nhiên việc chữa trị cũng không dễ dàng.
